# DocsNest

> DocsNest is a zero-knowledge encrypted personal document vault for families. Store passports, visas, driver licenses, medical records, travel documents, and legal files in one secure nest — with optional AI organization, expiry reminders, and a vault assistant.

DocsNest encrypts files on your device before upload. The service cannot read your document contents without your keys. Optional AI (AWS Textract and Google Document AI) runs only when you choose it during upload, on decrypted copies in memory — never stored by default.
